About Powers Resource Center
We’re Powers Resource Center and we’re on a mission to help companies and organizations like yours boost employee engagement, develop extraordinary teams, and build greater leadership capacity across the board.
But that sounds pretty dry.
And we don’t do dry.
We wow our clients every day by taking tired workshops, stale strategies, and cookie cutter consulting off the table so that we can innovate, just like you strive to do every day, and customize our services to meet your unique challenges. We make team building, training and our award-winning leadership develop programs so engaging and useful that our clients keep coming back for more.
Over the past 15 years we have coached and trained hundreds of executives and managers, internal trainers, emerging leaders and teams in order to help them create a culture that gets them excited and proud to contribute to the bottom line.
We offer team building workshops and retreats, train the trainer programs, leadership development programs, and coaching for all levels of an organization. And we’ve been told we’re pretty darn good at it.
If you have a small to mid-sized company that’s ready for some high level growth, and you want to grow it right, we want to partner with you.
“Tara is a forward-thinking, innovative, articulate, collaborative leader who executes! She truly understands the inner-workings of business – and is one of those rare few who truly “gets it.” To be a great thought leader, one must share without fear and understand that when you share and teach, you will get great gifts of business, friendship and deeper relationships that turn to enormous reward. Only the few top thought leaders in the world really get this — and Tara fully understands and lives this with great success – and therefore she stands among the top breed of thought leaders today. I consider her a friend and business collaborator where we are already creating powerful results together. I highly recommend Tara and I am glad to have her as a part of the strong inner circle of BPI Verified Experts” – Louis Carter, CEO Best Practices Institute
Tara Powers, Founder & CEO
Tara Powers founded Powers Resource Center because she was tired of seeing leaders and teams flounder because they weren’t getting the support, training and resources they needed.
As a Training Manager, she had been on the other end of training for long enough to know what worked and what didn’t in getting leaders on board. And her success over the past 20 years has taught her that she can achieve the results company execs want and still make sure the attendees have fun in the process.
Tara is an award winning leadership expert, sought after national speaker, experienced talent development consultant and crusader against boring, ineffective employee engagement initiatives and leadership training. Her success in working with over 200 companies and 1000’s of leaders has taught her how to achieve the results company executives want and still make sure the attendees are having fun in the process. Tara’s international experience includes working with marketing agencies, service organizations, startups, retail and financial organizations, call centers and more.
Tara is a 20-year talent development expert with a Masters in Organizational Leadership, a coaching certificate from ATD and a Certified Training Manager. She’s a Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team Authorized Facilitator and Everything DISC Solutions Provider.
Tara also brags that she’s a two-time world famous Trike Race champion, and she’ll gladly tell you all about it over a beer or a cup of coffee.
