Boulder, Colo., January 6, 2016 – Powers Resource Center, a leading employee engagement, talent development and leadership training company, has been recognized with two awards – Best Experienced/Senior Leaders Program and Top Leadership Partner – by HR.com, the largest global social networking and resource site for HR Professionals.

The two awards will be presented to Tara Powers, CEO for Powers Resource Center, on February 3-4 in Nashville, TN, at the LEAD2016 Leadership Excellence awards ceremony.

“It has always been our goal at Powers Resource Center to focus on building employee engagement and leadership talent capabilities for the future, and offering programs that deliver real change for organizations,” said Powers. “It’s an added bonus to have two of our programs recognized by industry-leaders HR.com. It’s quite an honor.”

Powers Resource Center is a past winner of the Leadership 500 Excellence Award from HR.com in 2015 and 2014.

For more than 33 years, HR.com and Leadership Excellence have identified and recognized the top organizations that develop their leaders. This year’s awards had more than 4,500 companies apply and 600,000 people voted on their programs to provide the most comprehensive ratings ever produced.

The award categories in the areas of individual, corporate, and education programs and the ranking process were updated this year to more accurately define and represent the array of leadership efforts nominated.

“Effective leadership development programs and activities are a must in today’s business. Without leadership, all other resources are ineffective, whether you are operating a non-profit, educational institution, government department, small business, or a large corporation. Programs recognized in the Leadership Excellence Awards program have made significant contributions developing leaders,” stated Debbie McGrath, CEO of HR.com.

Award recipients are selected based on both an application or nomination process as well as voting. The voting was completed by users of the leadership program and was promoted by the nominees as well as through social media campaigns.
